I watched the documentary about Rafe Esquith and his class on the last day of school late at night and exhausted. It made me cry. He is an amazing person and it was fascinating to see his classroom. The whole time I was watching I kept wanting to know the details, the schedule, how did it really work...This book does a great job of answering practical questions and letting you get to know Rafe Esquith as a teacher. I wish I had read it sooner.
